Zara is a midi length 3/4 circle skirt, with a wide waistband, and inseam pockets.
The fabric is an organic soft and drapey cotton sateen, that falls beautifully.
Groundbreaking is a cute floral print on a yellow background, just perfect for spring.
Zara has a stiff waistband, to help keep its shape and prevent rolling. However this means that there is not much give. Zara also runs small. Please check the size guide before ordering.
Please note, Zara has an accessibility issue. The zips on Tami are only 7 in / 18 cm, so will most likely need to be put on over your head, not stepped into.
10% of the profits from this item are donated to ONE GIRL, to provide an education to girls in the developing world.

FABRIC MANUFACTURING
This fabric is manufactured and printed by Herbal Fab.
Herbal Fab are a small family run and GOTS certified fabric mill in North West India. They are committed to eco friendly and sustainable manufacturing of fabric.
The fabric is digitally printed, as this produces far less waste than traditional full-colour screen printing does.
Being
GOTS certified means that not only is the fabric organic (and not from seeds owned by large multinationals) but also that there is no forced or child labour, and a living wage is paid.

WASHING AND PRESSING
We wash a test-swatch, and calculate any shrinkage. This is incorporated into the sizing of the pattern.
When the garments are delivered to us, we cold hand wash with environmentally friendly products to pre-shrink them. We then line dry them in our garden, and iron them while watching netflix.
