Meg is a simple a-line silhouette that packs a real punch.
A little longer at the back so you can rock a short skirt without worrying about sharing your knickers with the world.
Made from a linen / cotton blend with a stiff drape to help keep her shape. She will soften over time.
Flower Power is a bright mid-century inspired floral print by Elephant and Rose.
10% of the profits from this item are donated to ONE GIRL, to provide an education to girls in the developing world.

SUPPLY CHAIN
At Souten Clothing Co we aim to be 100% transparent. You can read more about each step of the garment creation process below.
FABRIC MANUFACTURING
This fabric is printed by Next State.
Next State are based in Abbotsford, VIC. They are committed to sustainable printing, and providing the best quality fabrics. They have great relationships with their suppliers, and are constantly working with them to improve supply chain ethics and transparency.
The fabric is digitally printed with water-based pigment ink, which uses no water and produces no ink waste.
GARMENT MAKING
The Meg skirts are made by Segom Pty Ltd.
Segom is a manufacturing agent and manufacturer based in Sydney. It is run by Mogie, who contracts other local makers to construct our garments, as well as making them herself.
TRIMS
The Zippers for the meg skirts come from M.Recht Accessories, in Collingwood, VIC. They maintain close and trusting relationships with both local and international suppliers.
M.Recht is family owned, and has been operating in Melbourne for 60 years. You can read more on their website.
WASHING AND PRESSING
The fabric is washed by Next State as part of the printing process. We wash a test-swatch, and calculate any shrinkage. This is incorporated into the sizing of the pattern.
When the garments are delivered to us, we cold hand wash with environmentally friendly products to pre-shrink them. We then line dry them in our garden, and iron them while watching netflix.
